Principal Investigator of the project

Professor at the Department of Polar and Marine Research, IGF Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Her research is focused on the use of isotope systematics in identifying processes of crustal evolution. She specializes in the U-Th-Pb geochronology of accessory minerals (zircon, monazite, xenotime) in magmatic and metamorphic systems.

Her current investigations involve the most ancient rocks from polar regions and other places around the world in order to understand the behavior of isotopes at the macro- to nano-scale. She is particularly interested in the little known history of the early Earth.
