Online lecture as a part of Edu-Arctic project
The lecture was given by Tanmay Keluskar, a doctoral student at the Institute of Geophysics Polish Academy of Sciences. It was focused on the geography of the Arctic of Canada and Alaska, which includes climate, culture, oceanography and economy of the area. During this lecture, various topics were discussed, such as working of the global conveyor belt and comparison between the Arctic and Antarctica. At the end, it was explained why the young generation needs to study the Arctic region for a better future. Students were engaged in a riveting QA session after the lecture.
