‘Introduction to Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry in the Earth Sciences’ Course
Doctoral students Tanmay Keluskar and Marcin Mieszczak visited GFZ Potsdam and attended the course ‘Introduction to Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry in the Earth Sciences’. Dr. Michael Wiedenbeck conducted this course at which introduced participants to the basics of SIMS instrumentation and working principles. The course included theory lectures, practical exercises and a visit to Cameca 1280-HR ion microprobe.
